Morning arrival at Leh Airport and transfer to hotel with traditional welcome (Hot Tea / Coffee / Kahwa). Complete rest in the morning & afternoon for vital high-altitude acclimatization (3,500 meters). In the late afternoon, take an orientation walk through Leh local market, followed by visits to the iconic Shanti Stupa and historic Leh Palace. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Post breakfast, drive along the Leh-Kargil Highway along River Indus. Sightseeing highlights include: Hall of Fame: Museum constructed by the Indian Army showcasing wartime history and Siachen exhibits. Gurudwara Patthar Sahib: Sacred Sikh shrine constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Magnetic Hill: Famous gravity-defying hill at 14,000 ft. Confluence (Sangam): Scenic view of the merging Indus and shiny blue Zanskar Rivers at Nimmu. Alchi Gompa & Likir Monastery: Historic 11th-century monastic complexes with ancient Kashmiri-style murals and a 25 ft gold Buddha statue. Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.
Scenic drive across Khardung La Pass (18,390 ft / 5,602 m) — one of the highest motorable roads in the world with views of the Zanskar and Saser mountain ranges. Arrive in the scenic Nubra Valley (avg. altitude 10,000 ft). Check-in at Camp / Hotel in Hunder. Evening walk through charming local Ladakhi villages. Dinner and overnight stay in Hunder.
Early breakfast and check-out. Enjoy an optional double-humped Bactrian camel ride in Hunder sand dunes. Visit the 515- year-old Diskit Monastery overlooking the valley. Proceed to the world-famous Pangong Tso Lake (14,000 ft) via Agham & Shyok Valley. Marvel at the 133 km long turquoise lake spanning the Indo-China border. Return to Leh via Chang La Pass (5,486 m). Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by a timely transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight. Tour concludes with breathtaking memories.
