Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be received by our representative and proceed towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). En route, stop at Shaba Riverside, Tamchog Monastery viewpoint and Chuzom Confluence. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, visit the Handicraft Market and explore Thimphu Main Town. After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Thimphu. Explore the capital's major cultural, religious and local attractions and experience Bhutanese architecture, traditions and lifestyle. After breakfast, proceed towards Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass. Enjoy panoramic Himalayan views, subject to weather conditions, and the beautiful surroundings of the pass. After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery), one of Bhutan's most famous landmarks. The monastery is dramatically situated on a cliffside above Paro Valley. After completing the hike/excursion, return to Paro. Evening free for leisure, relaxation or shopping. Overnight Stay: Paro
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight. Our representative will assist with the airport transfer.
